The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies I ever made

So lately I have been in a the mood to bake. Don't ask me why because I am not sure. But I finally found a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have fallen in love with. No it is not the Toll house one. It is the Crisco Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are so easy to make too. I am going to make another batch of them today.

3/4 stick Crisco All-Vegetable shortening
1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tbsps. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup) (I always add more)

Heat oven to 375. Beat shortening and brown sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in milk, vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Blend in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer cookies to cooling rack.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.

Yummy Yummy Lasagna

So I have been craving lasagna but the last time I made it I ended up burning myself and killing the back burner on my stove. So I went to my baby forum and searched and searched for a easy lasagna and found this one. Noah seemed to really like it. He told me that I could keep the recipe and make it again.

Topsy-Turvy Lasagna
3/4 lb ground beef
28oz jar of spaghetti sauce (any kind will work)
5 cups of cooked egg noodles
1 cup cottage cheese (I used ricotta cheese)
8 oz package shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain off fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. In a lightly greased 2 qt casserole dish, combine noodles, ground beef mixture, cottage cheese and one cup of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well. Top with remaining mozzarella. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Serves 8-10
